Join us for Paul Chan’s artist’s talk, on the occasion of the opening of his new project, Bathers at Night at Remai Modern. Chan is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice involves sculpture, writing, animated video, light projection, and community-based performance. His work engages with fundamental themes including politics, poetry, war, and death. A political activist as well as an artist, Chan is known for his presentation of dualities—violence and joy, utopia and apocalypse, the Bible and the Marquis de Sade, Samuel Beckett and hip-hop.
